Event Name: Summer Sounds from the Gazebo in Talleyrand Park
Date: Every Sunday in June & August
Details: Summer Sounds from The Gazebo in Talleyrand Park are a staple in the Bellefonte summer activity menu. This series began in 1981 and brings nine free concerts every Sunday from June to August at 7:00 p.m. They run about an hour (to 8:00 pm). Musical styles include folk, pop, rock, and jazz. Lawn chairs or blankets are suggested.
Event Name: PIAA Spring Sport Championships Festival
Date: June 11th & 12th, 2026
Details: The 2026 PIAA Spring Sport Championships Festival will be held Thursday June 11th - Friday, June 12th. The boys' volleyball championships will take place in Rec Hall, the lacrosse championships will be at Panzer Stadium, baseball will be at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and softball will take place at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field. Witness talented student-athletes from across the state vying for their school's shot at a state championship title!
