Registration for the 2026 I’M Local program is now Open!
The I’M Local program connects IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley athletes and volunteers with local businesses across the Centre and Clinton County regions. This year carries even greater significance as Happy Valley hosts the North American Championship which will bring increased visibility, heightened competition, and more eyes from across the continent on our community. With the championship designation also comes a larger field of competitors, meaning more athletes and more visitors experiencing everything Happy Valley has to offer.

Event Name: Live After 5
Date: Every Wednesday in June & August
Details: The Live After 5 summer concert series runs from June to August every Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm in the MLK Plaza. Enjoy live music from local musicians in the heart of Downtown State College! On select summer evenings, sip craft beverages from members of the Central PA Tasting Trail in our relaxing beverage garden at Live After 5: Taps & Tunes Edition!
Event Name: Happy Valley Improv Comedy Show
Date: June 12th, 2026
Details: 7pm improv comedy shows on Friday Nights at the Blue Brick Theatre featuring 3 long-form improv sets with an intermission in between each. The show will end at 8:30pm.
Event Name: Summer Sounds from the Gazebo in Talleyrand Park
Date: Every Sunday in June & August
Details: Summer Sounds from The Gazebo in Talleyrand Park are a staple in the Bellefonte summer activity menu. This series began in 1981 and brings nine free concerts every Sunday from June to August at 7:00 p.m. They run about an hour (to 8:00 pm). Musical styles include folk, pop, rock, and jazz. Lawn chairs or blankets are suggested.

Event Name: PIAA Spring Sport Championships Festival
Date: June 11th & 12th, 2026
Details: The 2026 PIAA Spring Sport Championships Festival will be held Thursday June 11th - Friday, June 12th. The boys' volleyball championships will take place in Rec Hall, the lacrosse championships will be at Panzer Stadium, baseball will be at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and softball will take place at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field. Witness talented student-athletes from across the state vying for their school's shot at a state championship title!
Event Name: Bellefonte Children’s Fair
Date: June 6th, 2026
Details: The Bellefonte Children's Fair, held on a Saturday in early June, features five fun-filled hours of games, activities, entertainment, raffles and displays. This event is made possible by Bellefonte Sunrise Rotary and proceeds benefit the Bellefonte Borough playgrounds.
