Our mission
At the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance, we are dedicated to enriching the Happy Valley, PA community through the power of sports and entertainment. Founded as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, we seek to enhance the well-being and economic prosperity of State College and its surrounding areas by championing a diverse range of sports and entertainment endeavors.
Our mission is to drive Happy Valley’s sports and entertainment strategy, enrich the quality of life, create economic impact, and raise the visibility of our region.
OUR BEGINNING
For years, visionaries among our community, university stakeholders, and dedicated citizens have recognized the immense potential of this region to emerge as a hub for top-tier sports and entertainment experiences. In 2021, the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau took the step in turning that vision into a reality by announcing their plans to launch the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance.
Our organization was born out of our region’s storied sports tradition and its effervescent arts and entertainment landscape. In 2023, the organization was formally created to carry out the goal of attracting, retaining, and facilitating sports and entertainment events that contribute to the vibrancy of Happy Valley, PA.
