State College, PA Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) proudly presents the Nittany Valley Half-Marathon, the ultimate test of endurance and determination, set to take place on Sunday, December 3, at the Penn State Ag Arena. This thrilling event promises to bring together athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and the local community for an unforgettable day of running.

The Nittany Valley Half-Marathon offers a unique opportunity for participants to challenge themselves, conquer personal limits, and achieve their fitness goals. With a stunning course that weaves through the scenic landscapes of State College, runners will experience the area's beauty like never before.

This year's half-marathon will feature various exciting elements to enhance the race experience. Participants can expect a professionally timed route with support from dedicated volunteers stationed along the course to cheer them on their journey.

Moreover, the race day festivities will be complemented by music, local food, and various services to create a festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. Whether one is a runner or a supporter, there will be something for all to revel in after the race.

The Nittany Valley Half-Marathon raises funds for CVIM to provide quality healthcare to the uninsured in Centre County. Community members are encouraged to donate to the run if they cannot participate.

"We look forward to hosting the 39th annual Nittany Valley Half Marathon on December 3. This race has been a staple of the local running community since its inception in 1984. It offers a moderately challenging course to runners of any ability," said Monica Mahoney, Registration Coordinator. “We are thrilled to partner again with Centre Volunteers in Medicine in the planning of the half and to help raise awareness of the services they provide to our community."

Registration before the Nittany Valley Half-Marathon is available on the website, and same-day registration is open at the Penn State Ag Arena. Runners of all skill levels are encouraged to participate and become part of this extraordinary event.
