814 Originals Launches to Spotlight Local Talent and Unique Spaces Throughout Happy Valley

Happy Valley, PA | April 24, 2025 – 814 Originals, a brand-new video series presented by the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance, is set to kick off its first season in Downtown State College, with plans to expand throughout the valleys. This exciting project showcases local bands performing original music in unique spaces across Happy Valley, offering a fresh way to explore the region’s vibrant creative scene. 

To celebrate the official launch of 814 Originals, the series will debut with a special premiere on May 14th at the State Theatre. This kickoff event will include a screening of the first season, featuring a debut music video that highlights all participating artists. Join us for an evening of music, community, and a behind-the-scenes look at the creative energy driving this new series. This event marks the beginning of what promises to be a dynamic journey through Happy Valley’s music and arts scene. 

The series is produced by the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance in collaboration with Spaces in Between Productions, with generous support from The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau and the Downtown Improvement District. 

Special thanks to our talented videographers—Matt Jacobs, Bryan Conyers, and Corey Beasley—for capturing the heart and energy of each performance. 

The goal of 814 Originals is to highlight the incredible talent in our region while celebrating the many unique venues that offer opportunities to shop, dine, and experience the best of what Happy Valley has to offer. Each episode features performances from local artists at various venues, shining a spotlight on both the musicians and the spaces that make our community special.
