814 Originals Presents: MA’AM Live at The Lobby Bar — Country Chaos Meets Classy Cocktails in the Heart of Happy Valley

Happy Valley, PA—Ma’aM is a seven-headed musical tornado whipping up the Central PA scene with a sound that’s as unpredictable as it is unforgettable. Hailing from somewhere out in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, this band takes the grit of outlaw country and smashes it headfirst into the fuzz of garage rock. The result? A raucous, boot-stomping blend of country junk that somehow feels like it was brewed in a whiskey barrel and set on fire. Whether you're crying in your beer or howling at the moon, Ma’aM delivers the kind of chaos that fills your honky-tonk heart to the brim.

You can catch them on their socials:

They also host the Burning Ma’aM Festival over Memorial Day Weekend—a full-on celebration of music, community, and chaos. Tickets are on sale now through their website, so grab yours before the fire’s lit.

Their next stop? The Lobby Bar inside Allen Street Grill, a venue as thoughtfully crafted as the band is unhinged. Perched on the second floor of Hotel State College, The Lobby Bar offers a stunning panoramic view of town and Penn State, wrapped in the warmth of a newly restored classic. Executive Chef Alex Singh brings serious flavor to the scene, offering a modern American menu rooted in local ingredients and creative spirit. It’s the perfect match for M’aM’s wild energy, a band with boots in the mud and eyes on the stars, playing in a space where fine food and community collide.

The Lobby Bar is part of the Hotel State College group of venues, which includes:
– Allen Street Grill (cocktails + dining, live music)
– Zeno’s Pub (live music)
– The Corner Room
– Chumley’s
– The Basement Nightspot
– Bill Pickle’s Tap Room

Many of these venues regularly host live music, check their individual social media accounts for upcoming performances.
