Happy Valley Adventure Bureau is hiring a Director of Sales

The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau (HVAB) is looking for a Director of Sales to join our team! We are seeking a relationship-driven, results-oriented professional who is excited to help a mission-driven organization grow and bring new opportunities to Happy Valley.

This full-time, in-person position in downtown State College will play an important role in executing sales strategies and attracting new meetings, conventions, sporting events, tournaments and other group business to Happy Valley. The Director of Sales will lead HVAB’s group sales efforts, identifying and securing business that drives overnight stays, visitor spending and meaningful economic impact throughout Centre County.

As Director of Sales, they will help strengthen HVAB’s sales pipeline while improving reporting and processes to keep efforts are organized and focused on results. A key part of the role will be building and maintaining relationships with lodging partners, venues, Penn State, event organizers and other community stakeholders to help create long-term growth for the destination.
