Happy Valley Film Production Bootcamp 2025
Centre County’s Certified Film Commissioner, Pablo Lopez, is hosting a three-day Film Production Bootcamp in State College and Bellefonte, PA, from October 21–23, 2025. Designed for film students, aspiring production assistants, storytellers, and career changers, the bootcamp offers an inside look at the film industry from seasoned professionals.
The Film Production Bootcamp bridges the gap between film school and the real-world industry, providing practical tools for those ready to take the next step in their careers. Centre County offers a unique backdrop, close to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and New York City, making it an ideal training ground. Since its launch, Happy Valley Film has supported dozens of aspiring filmmakers in starting their careers.
Participants will take part in presentations, hands-on workshops, editing sessions, networking opportunities, and social events designed to provide a well-rounded view of the profession. On the final day, a certificate ceremony will recognize each participant’s work, and a raffle will offer the chance to win special prizes.
Raffles: Participants who take all three days, will be placed into an equipment raffle with prizes including DJI drones, B&H Credit, Final Draft and Black Magic Resolve licenses, and much more.
