WFTDA North American Northeast Regionals Set to Take Place at Pegula
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — The State College Area Roller Derby (SCAR) is thrilled to make history by hosting this year’s Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) North American Northeast Regionals Tournament.
Scheduled for May 17-19 at the Pegula Ice Arena, this 3-day event will showcase the best of roller derby talent from across the region.
Featuring 12 teams representing the Northeast, West, and South regions, this tournament promises intense competition. Whether you’re a seasoned derby fanatic or a newcomer, this event has something for everyone.
The Pegula Ice Arena provides the ultimate setting for this adrenaline-fueled competition, offering ample seating and top-notch amenities to ensure a comfortable and memorable experience for all attendees.

About SCAR Derby
State College Area Roller Derby is a skater-owned and operated flat track derby league, functioning as a volunteer organization with skater athletes, referees, and officials. Its membership consists of individuals from the Centre region, spanning various ages and lifestyles. The organization fosters a strong community focused on athleticism, healthy competition, and fellowship. In 2015, SCAR Derby joined the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) and now competes nationally for ranking.
