THE EVOLUTION OF HOPPY VALLEY BREWERS FEST

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest is just around the corner, happening on May 24, 2026. With this being the third-annual year of the event, its evolution has been remarkable, offering guests with more opportunities than ever before. The festival continues to evolve as a full festival, rather than a typical sampling event, while continuing to offer guests with pours from some of the top regional breweries.
As the event enters its third year, it will be held at a new location at Panzer Stadium, home of Penn State Lacrosse. Last year, the festival was held at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, and the inaugural year was hosted at Beaver Stadium. The event has not returned to Beaver Stadium due to ongoing construction.
In years past, Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest has been a strictly craft beer festival. While new and returning breweries will continue to fill the festival, this year welcomes new alcohol vendors as well. For 2026, the festival will be adding wines, ciders, and spirits, opening it up to a wider audience and allowing guests to explore new flavors. New this year is also the addition of food trucks, including Uncle John’s Jawns, who is known for authentic Philly cheesesteaks and locally sourced ingredients.
As Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest is a sampling event, a ticket to the event gives guests access to multiple hours of unlimited sampling. The event will run from 1-6 p.m. for VIP ticketholders and 2-6 p.m. for General Admission ticketholders. Also available will be non-alcohol vendors such as permanent jewelry and etched glass, as well as live entertainment to soundtrack the day. Performers for the event will be announced soon.
