Rosanne Cash with John Leventhal Coming to the State Theatre
Happy Valley, PA—Get ready, State College! The iconic Rosanne Cash, one of the most ambitious and literary songwriters of her generation, is bringing her remarkable talents to the State Theatre. Known for her unique and distinctive vocals, Cash is a master at turning every song into a personal, revelatory tale that resonates deeply with audiences. She has earned four Grammy Awards, including three for her groundbreaking album The River & The Thread in 2014, alongside numerous nominations over her illustrious career.
Teaming up with her husband, the six-time Grammy-winning John Leventhal, who has been her creative partner for years, Cash has continued to push boundaries in the music world. In 2023, they launched RumbleStrip Records, a label dedicated to re-examining and reissuing Cash's early work, giving fans new access to her extraordinary catalog.
Currently, Cash and Leventhal are also working on the music for the theatrical production of Norma Rae, adding another layer to their already impressive repertoire.
The Happy Valley Sports and Entertainment Alliance is proud to sponsor this event, bringing one of the most celebrated musical acts of our time to State College!
