NCBBA Happy Valley Tip Off

Runners and walkers are welcome to join us for one of the most popular events of First Night State College, the annual Resolution Run 5k race! The 2025 PIAA Spring Sport Championships festival will be held Thursday, June 12 - Saturday, June 14. The boys' volleyball championships will take place in Rec Hall, the lacrosse championships will be at Panzer Stadium, baseball will be at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park and softball will take place at Nittany Lion Softball Park and Beard Field.

Tussey Mountainback 100-Mile Ultramarathon
Tussey Mountainback 100-Mile Ultramarathon
The Tussey Mountainback, a relay and ultramarathon footrace now in its 25th year and known for its signature 50-mile loop in Central Pennsylvania’s Rothrock State Forest, will introduce a 100-mile ultramarathon race option at this year’s event. The Tussey Mountainback race weekend is set for Oct. 26–27.
The 100-mile race will consist of two loops on the same course as the 50-mile race. Runners in the 100-mile race will start their first loop at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of Oct. 26 at Tussey Mountain Ski Area.

America's Wrestling Cup
America's Wrestling Cup is a newly formed organization dedicated to promoting and increasing competitions for girls and boys in the effort of producing outstanding future student-athletes. Six with the possibility of seven dual meets will take place for all divisions. Each team will consist of one member per weight class. You are allowed 4 extras per team. We will have eight mats for the Boys & Girls H.S. Divisions and four for the Jr. High Division. Awards will go to top three teams as well as an award for most outstanding wrestler.

2024 Pennsylvania State Invitational
Penn State University – Blue Course in State College, PA will host the U.S. Kids Golf Pennsylvania State Invitational. The State Invitational offers players the opportunity to compete in a multi-day championship event and qualify for U.S. Kids Golf Priority Status. By earning different levels of Priority Status, players can qualify for other U.S. Kids Golf multi-day events including Regional, International, and World or World Teen Championships. The State Invitational is open to players 5 to 14.

Gear up for an epic weekend teeming with golfing excitement! The 2024 AJGA Junior Golf Tournament will be held at Toftrees Golf Resort on August 4-8th. After hosting from 2003 to 2012, and again in 2020-2021, Happy Valley is excited to welcome them back this year!
This four-day event will showcase the top talents aged 12 to 15 from across the nation. Dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf, the AJGA Association has achieved $15.6 million in scholarships and have proudly hosted 129 tournaments in 2023.

Join PYP Studio for year two of Namastadium: Yoga on the Field! The event will be held on July 13, 2024, at 9 a.m. on the field of Panzer Stadium. Yoga presenters Kerry Bestwick and Janet Egerer will be guiding the morning as participants flow through a rejuvenating yoga session designed for all levels. Gates will open at 8 a.m. and class begins at 9 a.m. The duration of the class is one hour, and the cost is $40. Participants must bring their own yoga mat and are allowed to bring in a water bottle. Parking is available in the Jordan East lot for $1 per hour via the Park Mobile app.

Happy Valley Music Series: “A Bob Marley Celebration” Starring the Wailers
Rich Engler presents a “Bob Marley Celebration” starring the legendary Wailers with special guest star Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root Uprooted Trio at the beautiful Tussey Mountain Amphitheatre in Boalsburg, PA on Sunday, June 23. The concert begins at 3 p.m., with doors opening at 2 p.m.
The concert officially kicks off the new Happy Valley Music Series at Tussey Mountain, presented in part by The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau.
The Wailers will be performing such classic hits at Three Little Birds, Could You Be Loved, One Love, Redemption Song, No Women No Cry and many others.
Adding to the excitement of the kick-off concert, attendees can also view Bob Marley memorabilia from Bob’s last concert at the Stanley Theatre in Pittsburgh in 1980. The exhibit includes many photographs and autograph items from Bob Marley, plus other memorabilia, all from the Rich Engler private collection.
Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root Uprooted Trio will take the stage first.
