Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest returns for 2025 with a new date and location
Happy Valley, PA | March 17, 2025 – The highly anticipated Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest returns for 2025, offering beer enthusiasts the ultimate tailgate experience on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. for General Admission. Due to ongoing renovations at Beaver Stadium through 2027, this year’s event moves to a new location: the Porter North Lot with entrance at Medlar Field.
“While the construction prevents the use of our inaugural location, we are excited to maintain the vibrant atmosphere of Penn State’s campus that has made Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest a fan favorite,” said Eric Engelbarts, executive director of the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance (HVSEA).
A location chosen by fans Engelbarts said to ensure the best experience, a survey was sent to past attendees who subscribed to the Hoppy Valley official newsletter. The survey acknowledged the stadium construction and explored alternative locations.
“The overwhelming consensus was to keep the event on Penn State’s campus,” he said. “The Porter North Lot was ultimately selected, offering more space for breweries, vendors, and food selections.”
Celebration of craft beer, music, and local flavor Created by Antifragile Brewing, the Happy Valley Sports & Entertainment Alliance, and The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau, the second annual Hoppy Valley Brewers Fest is more than just a beer tasting. It is a celebration of craft beer, live music, and local food. Attendees can enjoy top regional breweries, live entertainment, and delicious offerings, including Uncle John’s Jawns cheesesteaks and other concessions.
