Volunteers Still Needed for 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley
Happy Valley, PA — The 2025 IRONMAN® 70.3® Pennsylvania Happy Valley triathlon is coming up fast, and while the athletes are training hard for race day, the event still needs a strong team of volunteers to make it all happen.
This year’s race takes place on Father’s Day, June 15th, making it a great opportunity to sign up and volunteer as a family. Whether you want to spend a memorable day together supporting world-class athletes or get involved in the spirit of community, volunteering is a unique way to celebrate the day and be part of something exciting.
Volunteer shifts are also available on Friday and Saturday leading up to race day. So if you’re unavailable on Sunday, there are still plenty of ways to help and be part of the experience.
IRONMAN events rely on hundreds of volunteers to keep things running smoothly—from athlete check-in to water stations to course guidance. It’s a great way to meet new people, enjoy the energy of race weekend, and contribute to a major community event.
And if you’re part of a group or organization, there’s even more reason to get involved. Through the IRONMAN Foundation, groups that volunteer together may be eligible for grant funding. These community grants are designed to support nonprofits and local organizations that step up to help during the race. To apply, groups can simply reach out to the local volunteer director to learn more about the process.
Whether you’re signing up solo or bringing a group, your time and effort will go a long way in supporting both the athletes and the local community.
Volunteer registration is open now. Have questions or want more information? Reach out to the team at im70.3penn@ironmanvolunteers.com and get involved today.
