Black Leaders Detroit is dedicated to promoting equity through community action and is excited to announce its most ambitious initiative yet: the 2025 Ride For Equity. This groundbreaking thirty-five-day cross-country bike ride will launch on May 31, 2025, starting at Black Wall Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and concluding at Wall Street in New York City near Independence Day.

He spoke with his former gymnastics coach, Randy Jepson, about his time in State College. “I came here and immediately fell in love with the campus,” Stephen said, sharing fond memories of his time in Happy Valley. He explained that he wanted to attend the college that would make him the best pommel horse gymnast, adding, “And that’s how I made my decision to come here.”

The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau is excited to announce its 2025-26 grant program, conducted in partnership with the Centre County Board of Commissioners. Since 2003-4, this program has awarded nearly $8.3 million to profits, events and initiatives meant to enhance visitor experience and increase tourism in Happy Valley.
